Courtney Scott, DO, MPH
Prior to taking an Acting Manager position, Dr. Scott Served as Deputy to Dr. Warren Silberman, Former Chief of AMCD. Doctor Scott also managed the AMCD physicians and staff.
Dr. Scott served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years holding top-level medical positions, Dr. Scott was the Dean of the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine and his final USAF assignment was in a joint position as commander of the tri-service Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute. He retired from the Air Force in 2008 at the rank of colonel.
Prior to joining the AMCD, Dr. Scott specialized in international affairs and global health security for the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, D.C.
